North Hills Hockey Families:
This year the North Hills Hockey Club has adopted a new fund raiser to replace the Columbus
Day raffle. We are giving everyone the opportunity to sell lottery calendars, using the profits to
directly reduce your child's cost of playing hockey.
The calendars will be sold for $10.00 each. For every calendar you sell, $7.00 will be directly
credited to reduce your player’s hockey bill. If you sell 50 calendars, your bill is reduced by
$350.00!
The calendars will each have one number on them. The winner each day will be based on the
evening daily number drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery. Each calendar gives you the chance
to win every day in the month of November 2017. If your number is drawn on a weekday, you
win $50.00, on a Saturday or Sunday, you win $125.00, and on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, you
win $500.00.
Each players family will be given 10 calendars to sell. Extra calendars will be available on a first
come first serve basis.
You will be required to turn in either $10.00 per calendar or the calendar stub with the
purchaser’s information listed prior to October 1, 2017. The reason they are being collected a
month in advance is so there is enough time for unsold calendars to be sold by families that
would like additional calendars.
