The Barrie 400 Flea Market Minor Midgets took their second tournament Championship of the season winning the Barrie Tournament on the weekend of July 28-30.  Barrie opened the tournament with the Bolton Braves winning 4-3 in a tight game.  Next saw the Red Sox defeat Walker Homesites of Windsor in another tight game 4-3.  Next the Red Sox beat up on the Toronto Playgrounds 15-6 which seeded them #1 going into the final games.  With a bye in the Quarter Finals, Barrie faced a tired Brampton Royals team defeating them 9-2.  In the final, the Barrie Red Sox defeated the Newmarket Hawks 7-3 for the Championship.
