Hungarian national team coach Rich Chernomaz has announced the training camp roster for the upcoming European Ice Hockey Challenge (EIHC) tournament that will be taking place in Gdansk Poland on February 6th through the 8th. During the three day tournament Hungary will be facing the national teams of Belarus, Italy and the host team of Poland.

The squad will be meeting on the 3rd of February in the Ice Palace where at 17:00 they will be having there first practice. With two 1 hour and 40 minute practices on Tuesday the 4th, at 10:00 and 17:00, on Wednesday the roster cuts will be made and the final squad will travel to Gdansk.

This time around Coach Chernomaz called in 40 players with 10 of them being on the U20 World Championships roster from December, and just over half, 21 of them coming from the EBEL club SAPA Fehérvár AV19. Other Hungarian clubs representer is DAB.Docler, MAC Budapest, Miskolc, and Debrecen.

There are a number of players missing from the squad who still might be called in for the Worlds. Ladislav Sikorcin and Bence Bálizs are out with injuries whereas Gergő Nagy, Dániel Koger, and Krisztián Nagy are playing in the U.S. and Márton Vas is in Germany.
