The Welland Whalers will take to the ice this Saturday night with a pair of new faces in the line-up.
Chris Risi, who many consider to be one of the best players to ever play in the Golden Horseshoe Hockey League, will make his debut when the Whalers host the Whitby Dunlops at the Welland Arena on Saturday at 7.30pm.
Also joining the team will be Bill Zalba, who played 9 years of professional hockey.
Fraser Smith, who played four years at Potssam University, will join the Whalers the following weekend.
Several other new player signings are expected to be announced by the Whalers soon.
