Rittner Buam survives HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering comeback, wins 2-1

Rittner Buam survived a determined comeback attempt by HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering on the way to a 2-1 win.

Rittner Buam made the score 2-0 on a goal by Brendan Cook at 15:05 in the second period, and HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering got as close as 2-1 when Francesco De Biasio scored 5:27 into the third period.

Rittner Buam was paced by Cook, who tallied one goal.

Rittner Buam put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering to score on any of its four power plays.

Dan Tudin also scored for Rittner Buam. In addition, Rittner Buam received assists from Fabian Ebner, Hannes Treibenreif, Mark Van Guilder, and Luca Ansoldi, who contributed one each.

More assists for HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering came via Andre Signoretti and Matteo Mondon Marin, who each chipped in one.

Rittner Buam's starting goalie, Roland Fink, made seven saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Treibenreif, who stopped 14 shots. Rittner Buam incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering's Neil Conway stopped 30 shots out of the 32 that he faced. HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering ended with 27 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major. For HC Valpellice Bodino Engineering, Stefan Della Rovere was ejected from the game.
