SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Fassa Falcons.

SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan was led by goalie Mark Demetz, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Demetz certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.36 entering the contest.
