HC Egna Riwega beats SHC Fassa 4-2 after comeback scare

SHC Fassa tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but HC Egna Riwega held on for a 4-2 victory.

HC Egna Riwega took a 4-1 lead during the third period, only to have SHC Fassa storm back on a Nicola Deluca goal 11:19 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

HC Egna Riwega's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three SHC Fassa power plays.

HC Egna Riwega was led by Vojetech Kubincak, who tallied three goals and one assist. HC Egna Riwega also got points from Angel Krestev, who also had one goal and one assist. More assists for HC Egna Riwega came via Domenico Perna, who had three and Michael Sullmann, Steve Pellettier, and Jan Dlouhy, who each chipped in one.

SHC Fassa also got a goal from Tony Vidgren as well. Other players who recorded assists for SHC Fassa were Per Filip William Bjork, Mattia Bernard, Sami Juhani Ryhanen, and Manuel Da Tos, who contributed one each.

HC Egna Riwega's Dlouhy stopped 24 shots out of the 26 that he faced. HC Egna Riwega incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Gianni Scola rejected 23 shots on goal for SHC Fassa. SHC Fassa incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
