The Alleghe Civette's Nicola Fontanive scored 13:37 into overtime to beat the Pontebba Aquile FVG, 3-2 (OT).

Alleghe was paced by Fontanive, who tallied one goal and one assist.

The Civette had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just one goal on nine chances.

Carlo Lorenzi also scored for Alleghe. Other players who recorded assists for Alleghe were Daniele Veggiato, Greg Hogeboom, Joni Haverinen, and Vincent Rocco, who each chipped in one.

Pontebba could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Aquile FVG were helped by Matt Waddell, who had one goal. Waddell scored 3:59 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Patrick Iannone provided the assist. Pontebba also got a goal from Tommy Goebel as well. More assists for Pontebba came via Davide Anthony Nicoletti, who had one.

Adam Dennis recorded 45 saves for Alleghe. The Civette incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Pontebba's Alex Petizian stopped 37 shots out of the 40 that he faced. The Aquile FVG registered one goal on five power play opportunities.
