Julian Mascarin gave the HC Gherdeina Furie a 4-3 (OT) victory over the HC Neumarkt Egna Wild Goose when he scored 8:30 into the extra period.

HC Gherdeina overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Furie fell behind 3-1 after a goal by HC Neumarkt Egna's Flavio Faggioni at 16:02 in the third period. HC Gherdeina tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by James Schaafsma at 17:12 in the third period.

Schaafsma was all over the ice for the Furie, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Schaafsma scored the first of his two goals at 16:49 into the third period to make the score 3-2 HC Neumarkt Egna. Patrick Wallenberg assisted on the tally. Schaafsma's next tally made the score with 2:48 left in the third period. Wallenberg picked up the assist.

HC Gherdeina additionally got points from Rupert Stampfer, who also registered one goal and one assist.

The Wild Goose were helped by Eric Werner, who racked up one goal. Werner scored 7:19 into the third period to make the score 1-0 HC Neumarkt Egna. HC Neumarkt Egna also got points from Domenico Perna, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
