Kristofer Westblom stood on his head and made 35 saves to lead the Brampton Beast to a 2-1 victory over Rapid City.

Brampton was led by Andrew Fournier, who finished with one goal. Fournier scored 17:27 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Brampton. Dan Milan assisted on the tally.

The 27 shots that the Beast put on net surpassed Brampton's average of 22.9 shots per game this season.

Jason Pitton also scored for Brampton. More assists for Brampton came via Tylor Michel and Scott Howes, who contributed one each.

Rapid City's offense operated below its season average. Rapid City puts an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. The Beast were unable to stop Rapid City from sending pucks towards the net, and Rapid City eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.
