The Arizona Sundogs' Jordan Clendenning scored 1:18 into overtime to beat the Denver Cutthroats, 4-3 (OT). Arizona overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Sundogs fell behind 3-1 after a goal by Denver's Garrett Bembridge at 6:19 in the third period. Arizona tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Matt McCready at 16:51 in the third period. The Sundogs were sparked by Clendenning, who had one goal. Arizona got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. With 38 shots on target during the contest, the Sundogs exceeded the 26.2 shots they average per game this year. Arizona also got points from McCready, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
