The Brampton Beast used a sparkling performance by Grant Rollheiser to take down the Tulsa Oilers, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Brampton's 4-0 shutout victory.

The Beast were led by Jason Pitton, who grabbed one goal. Pitton scored 14:48 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Brampton. Tyler Butler provided the assist.

Brampton put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Tulsa to score on any of its three power plays. The Beast put 31 shots on net during the contest, more than the 22.5 they average per game.

Brampton additionally got points from Calin Wild, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. The Oilers forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time.
