The Tulsa Oilers beat the Allen Americans, 3-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout. A goal 12:01 into the the first period by Brandon Coccimiglio proved to be the game winner, and powered Tulsa to the victory Kyle Bochek picked up the assist.The Oilers were led by goalie Shane Madolora, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Madolora certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.3 entering the contest. Tulsa was paced by Adam Pleskach, who had one goal.
