Tulsa falls to Fort Worth in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Phil Fox gave the Fort Worth Brahmas a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Tulsa Oilers when he scored 2:00 into the extra period.

Fox had two goals to lead Fort Worth to victory.

With 45 shots on target during the contest, the Brahmas exceeded the 21.3 shots they average per game this year.

Fort Worth also got a goal from Sy Nutkevitch as well. In addition, Fort Worth received assists from Cole Ruwe and Adam Hogg, who contributed one a piece and Gregg Eskedjian, Tomas Klempa, and John Snowden, who each chipped in two.

Tulsa's defensemen bolstered the Oilers' offensive attack, as they bombarded Kristofer Westblom with 11 shots.

Tulsa was led by Ryan Menei, who had one goal and two assists. Menei scored 9:43 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Ben Gordon provided the assist. Jeff Buvinow also scored for Tulsa. Other players who recorded assists for Tulsa were Sean Erickson, Drew Fisher, and Ryan Cramer, who contributed one a piece.

Fort Worth's Westblom stopped 18 shots out of the 21 that he faced. The Brahmas incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Shane Madolora made 41 saves for the Oilers on 45 shots. Tulsa incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
