The Arizona Sundogs allowed the Fort Worth Brahmas to net four goals during the second period and fell, 7-1. John Snowden had five goals to lead Fort Worth to victory. Snowden notched his first tally 1:25 into the second period. He then added goals at 10:02 into the second, at 11:14 into the second, at 15:27 into the second, and at 3:01 into the third. The Brahmas' goal total was higher than their season average. Fort Worth has scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign. With 35 shots on target during the contest, the Brahmas exceeded the 20.4 shots they average per game this year. Fort Worth also got points from Austin Mayer, who also registered two goals and two assists. In addition, Fort Worth received assists from Ross Rouleau, who had two, Adam Hogg, who had four, and Sy Nutkevitch, Gregg Eskedjian, and Tomas Klempa, who each chipped in one. Arizona failed to reach its usual level of shot production, putting 18 pucks on goal after averaging 24.4 shots per game this season. The Sundogs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Arizona was led by Derek LeBlanc, who took one shot. Kristofer Westblom made 17 saves for Fort Worth on 18 shots. The Brahmas incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. David Brown took the loss and made 25 saves before being replaced by Adam Russo who made three saves. The Sundogs registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
