RG Flath was all over the ice for the Wichita Thunder, as he tallied two goals in Wichita's 5-2 win over Rapid City.

Flath scored at 4:13 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Rapid City and again while on the power play 6:25 into the third to make the score 4-2 Wichita.

The Thunder stifled Rapid City's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. With 33 shots on target during the contest, Wichita exceeded the 28.3 shots it averages per game this year.

Wichita additionally got points from Andrew Martens, who also registered one goal and one assist and Matt Robinson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Wichita also got a goal from Neil Trimm as well. More assists for Wichita came via Ian Lowe and Nathan Lutz, who contributed one a piece and Gregor Hanson and Matt Summers, who each chipped in three.

Rapid City's penalty kill was ineffective, and let in three goals to the Thunder's power play unit.

Rapid City totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-3 on the power play.
