In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Denver Cutthroats escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Bloomington Blaze.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Glenn Cacaro secured the win for Denver with a goal in the third period.

The Cutthroats were led by Cacaro, who tallied one goal. Cacaro scored 56 seconds into the third period to make the score 4-3 Denver. Troy Schwab assisted on the tally.
