Wichita stifled the Oilers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Thunder were helped by Dustin Donaghy, who registered one goal. Donaghy scored 10:13 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Wichita. Kevin Young provided the assist. Wichita also got a goal from Matt Robinson as well. In addition, Wichita received assists from Ian Lowe, Les Reaney, and Andrew Martens, who each chipped in one.

Shane Madolora recorded 25 saves for Tulsa. The Oilers totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-4 on the power play.
