The Denver Cutthroats relied on the sparkling performance of Kieran Millan in net to grab a 4-1 win against Rapid City.

Denver's penalty kill excelled, as the Cutthroats gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Denver was paced by Luke Fulghum, who tallied one goal and one assist. Fulghum scored 8:57 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Denver. Jamie MacQueen picked up the assist.
