Fort Worth stifles Tulsa's comeback, gains 3-1 victory

The Tulsa Oilers almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Fort Worth Brahmas managed to pull out a 3-1 win in the end.

Fort Worth led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Brahmas' Tomas Klempa's scored at 16:44 in the second period to put Fort Worth up 3-0.

The Brahmas' Brad Fogal was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 35 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of Fogal will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.83.

Fort Worth was sparked by Chad Woollard, who had one goal. Woollard scored 3:46 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Fort Worth. Derrick Pallis provided the assist.

With 28 shots on target during the contest, the Brahmas exceeded the 21.7 shots they average per game this year.

Fort Worth additionally got points from Klempa, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Pallis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Fort Worth received assists from Sy Nutkevitch and TJ Fox, who contributed one a piece.
