Rapid City completes comeback, beats Missouri, 4-3Silverstein Eye Centers Arena Sat, Nov 17, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
Undaunted by a one-goal deficit, Rapid City battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over the Missouri Mavericks. Rapid City was led by Jeff Lee, who registered one goal. Lee scored 15:34 into the third period to make the score 4-4. Damian Surma assisted on the tally. Rapid City stifled Missouri's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Rapid City put 37 shots on net during the contest, more than the 25.2 it averages per game. Rapid City also got points from Riley Weselowski, who also had one goal and one assist. Jordan Behler also scored for Rapid City. Rapid City incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Mavericks' Corbiel stopped 33 shots out of the 37 that he faced. Missouri incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
