Tulsa rides Madolora to victory over Missouri, 3-1

Shane Madolora had a standout game with 26 saves, and the Tulsa Oilers beat the Missouri Mavericks 3-1.

Tulsa was led by Matthew Larke, who finished with one goal. Larke scored 18:27 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Tulsa. Eric Tallent assisted on the tally.

Tulsa also got points from Todd Robinson, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Tulsa also got a goal from Ben Gordon as well. In addition, Tulsa received assists from Nathan Lutz and Michel Beausoleil, who each chipped in one.

Missouri's offense operated below its season average. The Mavericks put an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game. Missouri relied on a core group of players for most of its offense, as Andrew Courtney, Tyler Currier and Evan Vossen took 14 of the team's 27 shots.

Other players who recorded assists for Missouri were Dave Pszenyczny and Trevor Kell, who contributed one each.

The Oilers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Shane Owen made 25 saves for the Mavericks on 27 shots. Missouri incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
