The Tulsa Oilers survived a determined comeback attempt by the Arizona Sundogs on the way to a 5-3 win.

Tulsa made the score 5-1 on a goal by Ryan Menei at 1:48 in the third period, and Arizona got as close as 5-3 when Matt McCready scored 17:33 into the third period.

With 31 shots on target during the contest, the Oilers exceeded the 24.1 shots they average per game this year.

Tulsa was led by Ben Gordon, who registered three goals and two assists. Tulsa additionally got points from Menei, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Adam Pleskach, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Tulsa came via Nathan Lutz, Blair Macaulay, and Craig Cescon, who contributed one a piece.
