Arizona survives Tulsa comeback, wins 4-2BOK Center Sat, Feb 15, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Arizona Sundogs came close to giving away a three-goal lead to the Tulsa Oilers, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory. Arizona led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Sundogs' Sebastian Geoffrion's scored at 19:02 in the third period to put Arizona up 5-2. The Sundogs got the win with help from a great game by Kevin Baker, who had one goal and three assists. Baker scored on the power play 2:07 into the third period to make the score 4-1 Arizona. Arizona had gained a power play chance when Scott Macaulay was whistled for tripping. Jason Morgan picked up the assist. The Sundogs relied on a core group of players for most of their offense, as Bryan Cameron, Josh Harris and Baker took 16 of the team's 31 shots. Garrett Clarke also scored for Arizona. In addition, Arizona received assists from Johan Ryd, who had two. Tulsa was helped by Blair Macaulay, who tallied one goal. Macaulay scored 6:50 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Arizona. Michel Beausoleil assisted on the tally. Tulsa also got a goal from Ben Gordon as well.
