Jesse Dudas finished with one point to lead the Wichita Thunder to a 5-2 victory over the St. Charles Chill.

Wichita stifled St. Charles' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Thunder got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Wichita's offense was clicking better than usual and put 46 shots on goal during the game, better than the 26.5 shots per game it averages.

Wichita additionally got points from Jon Booras, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Wichita also had goals scored by Ian Lowe, Matt Summers, and Jon Madden, who each put in one. More assists for Wichita came via Nick McParland, who had two and Mike Wilson, Matt Robinson, RG Flath, Taylor Nelson, and Jared Walker, who contributed one a piece.

The Chill were helped by Andrew Conboy, who registered one goal and one assist. Conboy scored 18:57 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Charles. Anthony Perdicaro assisted on the tally. St. Charles also got points from Perdicaro, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, St. Charles received assists from Kyle OKane, who had one.

Nelson rejected 19 shots on goal for the Thunder. Wichita incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Linus Lundin recorded 41 saves for St. Charles. The Chill incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
