Jesse Dudas finished with one point to lead the Wichita Thunder to a 5-2 victory over the St. Charles Chill. Wichita stifled St. Charles' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Thunder got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Wichita's offense was clicking better than usual and put 46 shots on goal during the game, better than the 26.5 shots per game it averages. Wichita additionally got points from Jon Booras, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
