Rob Kleebaum racked up one point to lead the Missouri Mavericks to a 6-1 victory over the St. Charles Chill.

Missouri put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Charles to score on any of its four power plays. The Mavericks' goal total was higher than their season average. Missouri averages 3.6 goals per game. With 44 shots on target during the contest, the Mavericks exceeded the 28.7 shots they average per game this year.

Missouri additionally got points from Evan Vossen, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Sebastien Thinel, who also had one goal and one assist. Obi Aduba also scored for Missouri. More assists for Missouri came via Anders Franzon, Kyle Hood, and Mike Ramsay, who each chipped in one and Dave Pszenyczny and Trevor Kell, who contributed three a piece.

The Chill put 24 shots on net during the contest, more than the 20.5 they average per game.

St. Charles was led by Kyle OKane, who scored the team's only goal. OKane scored 14:28 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Missouri. Andrew Conboy picked up the assist.

Shane Owen made 23 saves for Missouri on 24 shots. The Mavericks totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 2-for-5 on the power play. Missouri ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Andrew Courtney was ejected from the game. The Chill's starting goalie, Robert Moss, made 31 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Kevin McFarland, who stopped seven shots. St. Charles incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
