Rob Kleebaum racked up one point to lead the Missouri Mavericks to a 6-1 victory over the St. Charles Chill. Missouri put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Charles to score on any of its four power plays. Missouri ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Andrew Courtney was ejected from the game. The Chill's starting goalie, Robert Moss, made 31 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Kevin McFarland, who stopped seven shots. St. Charles incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
