In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Rapid City escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Allen Americans.

Rapid City gained the winning advantage on a goal by Konrad Reeder 19:54 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Rapid City was led by Reeder, who registered one goal and one assist.
