The Tulsa Oilers, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Tulsa and clinched a 5-3 victory. The Oilers led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Tulsa's Ryan Menei's scored on the power play at 19:27 in the second period to put the Oilers up 3-0. Menei was all over the ice for Tulsa, as he had two goals in the win. The Oilers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Tulsa's goal total was higher than its season average. The Oilers average 2.8 goals per game. Tulsa also got points from Gary Steffes, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Tulsa also got a goal from Ryan Barlock as well. Other players who recorded assists for Tulsa were Ben Gordon, who had two and Jeff Buvinow, Drew Fisher, Ryan Cramer, Shane Madolora, and Jason Weeks, who contributed one a piece.
