Arizona put 24 shots on net during the contest, more than the 21.7 it averages per game.

The Sundogs were led by Derek LeBlanc, who scored the team's only goal. LeBlanc scored on the power play 9:49 into the third period to make the score 4-1 Rapid City. An interference penalty on John Snowden had put Arizona on the power play. Jeff Kyrzakos assisted on the tally.
