A stellar performance between the pipes by John Murray helped the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees defeat the Laredo Bucks, 3-1.

Rio Grande Valley was sparked by Aaron Lee, who racked up one goal. Lee scored on the power play 5:34 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Rio Grande Valley. A hooking penalty on Matt Hanson had put the Killer Bees on the power play. Craig Lineker picked up the assist.
