Rapid City's Shawn Limpright had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 8-4 win over the Arizona Sundogs.

Limpright scored on the power play 6:27 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Rapid City. A hooking penalty on Nathan ONabigon had put Rapid City on the power play. Anthony Perdicaro picked up the assist. Limpright dished an assist on Konrad Reeder's goal that made the score 2-0 Rapid City at 15:59 into the first period. He added another helper on Jeff Kyrzakos' goal that made the score 7-4 Rapid City at 8:38 into the third period.

Rapid City bested its season scoring average. Rapid City averages 3.5 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. With 47 shots on target during the contest, Rapid City exceeded the 25.9 shots it averages per game this year.

Rapid City additionally got points from Dominic DAmour, who also had one goal and one assist and Mike Vaskivuo, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Scott Wray also scored for Rapid City. In addition, Rapid City received assists from Les Reaney and Patrick Knowlton, who contributed two a piece.

Arizona struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 24 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays. The Sundogs put 35 shots on net during the contest, more than the 29.9 they average per game.

Arizona was led by Kyle Hood, who tallied one goal and one assist. Hood scored short handed 7:40 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Rapid City.
