Peters just finished his sophomore at Muscatine Community College in Davenport, Iowa and will transfer to UW-Milwaukee in the fall. As a freshman for the Cougars, Peters made 10 starts, posting a pair of victories. He struck out 51 strikeouts in 50.2 innings, throwing a pair of complete games. While at Randolph High School, he posted a 2.01 ERA in his prep career while also batting .340 in 51 games, driving in 34 and scoring 45 runs.
