In 2003 the Arizona Diamondbacks signed Sanchez as an undrafted free agent. Sanchez spent 2004 and part of 2005 with Arizona’s rookie club. In 2005, Sanchez joined the Chicago White Sox organization and pitched for their rookie club in 2005 and 2006. Midway through the 2006 season Sanchez rejoined the Arizona Diamondbacks organization and pitched for their Single A affiliate team in 2006 and 2007. In 2009, Sanchez pitched for the Seattle Mariners Single A team for part of the season and the Diamondbacks Double A club for the remainder of the 2009 year. Over 5 Minor League seasons, Sanchez has accumulated a 12-20 record, a 5.87 ERA, and 259 strikeouts over 293.0 IP. The Diablos are excited to have Sanchez's experience in the starting rotation.
