Evan King was All-PSAC West Second Team selection for California (Pa.). He started 47 games (46 at second base), batting .311 (52-for-167) with five doubles, one homer, 21 RBI, 35 runs and 26 steals. He led his team and ranked second in the PSAC in steals. King finished second on the team in hits, runs scored, on base percentage and walks. He collected a team-high 17 multi-hit games while serving as the leadoff hitter.

In 2010, King appeared in 50 games with 48 starts (43 at third base), hitting .346 (55-for-159) with seven doubles, one triple, 26 RBIs, 43 runs and 12 steals. He led newcomers in batting average, hits, runs, on base percentage and walks.  King had a team-best .375 average (27-for-72) during conference play, registered 18 multi-hit games and went 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run at Mars Hill.
