Connor McKay is one of three current freshman who are in Holyoke this summer that were drafted out of High School. McKay was drafted by his hometown Rockies in the 24th round. McKay started 41 games at Kansas this spring but had trouble making contact. McKay hit only .203 and struck out 46 times. Once McKay adjusts to the speed of the college game everyone will need to be aware. McKay is a five tool talent who showcases a great throwing arm and a power packed swing. McKay will continue to unlock his potential this summer.
