Evans spent two seasons at Florida Atlantic University, and will head to Eastern Florida State next season. At FAU, Evans redshirted in 2019, then appeared in four games during the COVID-shortened 2020 season. He reached base twice in his first start, and logged his first collegiate hit against top-ranked Florida. Evans played his high school baseball at Apopka High School, where he was named First Team All-Metro, First Team All-Conference, and a Rawlings Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American. His summer ball experience includes time with the Strasburg Express of the Valley Baseball League. He played in eleven games in the VBL, hitting .375 with a home run, two doubles, and five runs scored.
