Brown University’s Reid Anderson joins the Gulls pitching staff after completing his junior season in which he started 7 games, pitching 40.1 innings. Anderson led the team with 41 strikeouts. In his sophomore season, Anderson was a member of the weekend rotation starting 9 games and recording 42 strikeouts in 47.0 innings pitched. The Brown righty started 7 games as a member of the weekend rotation his freshman year, leading his team to three wins with 42.0 innings pitched and 35 strikeouts. 

Anderson attended Aledo high school where he won a state title senior year posting a 12-1 record, 0.72 ERA and 80 strikeouts throughout 70.0 innings pitched. Anderson was also a member of his high school football team and is concentrating in business at Brown.
