Gered Mochizuki had two extra base hits as the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (29-25) took home a 5-1 victory over the Hawaii Stars (23-25) in six innings at Wong Stadium on Saturday.

Jessie Smith looked sharp on the mound. The Hawaii Stars managed just three hits off of Smith, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Roman Martinez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
