Steven Tedesco went 2-4 as the Hawaii Stars (11-12) took home an 8-3 victory over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (12-11) at Wong Stadium on Saturday.

Ronnie Loeffler picked up the win for the Hawaii Stars. Loeffler pitched nine innings and allowed three earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out two.

Jose M Sanchez went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Hawaii Stars had no answer for Josh Larson, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Larson held the Hawaii Stars hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Eri Yoshida was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.
