The San Rafael Pacifics (29-18) beat the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (24-23) 5-1 in seven innings on Saturday at Iron Maehara Stadium behind Will Wright, who went 2-3.

Brian Gump struck out eight, paving the way for a the San Rafael Pacifics win. Gump allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

The San Rafael Pacifics had no answer for Josh Larson, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The San Rafael Pacifics managed just one hit off of the the Maui Na Koa Ikaika's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Eri Yoshida (3-5) took the loss for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
