Maeda's double propels the Sonoma County Grapes past the Maui Na Koa Ikaika, 8-4

Four first-inning runs helped the Sonoma County Grapes (13-26) to an 8-4 win over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (20-19) at Iron Maehara Stadium on Thursday.

Chris Debiasi had a hot bat for the Sonoma County Grapes. Debiasi went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Robert Savarese pitched lights out for the Sonoma County Grapes. The Maui Na Koa Ikaika managed just one hit off of Savarese, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Danny Sandoval reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and ninth innings.

Daniel March got the win, running his season record to 2-3. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Mike Williams couldn't get it done on the bump for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
