Eighth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Sonoma County Grapes, 10-4

A seven-run explosion in the eighth inning led the Sonoma County Grapes (9-14) to a 10-4 win over the San Rafael Pacifics at Albert Park on Saturday.

George Ban helped the Sonoma County Grapes take the lead for good in the eighth inning. With the score tied at three, Ban came to the plate and singled, scoring Samuel Perry.

Brandon Gregorich reached base three times in the game for the Sonoma County Grapes. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the seventh inning.

Vinny Pacchetti improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Sonoma County Grapes. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. Pacchetti struck out three, walked two and gave up three hits.

Julian Arballo (2-2) took the loss for the San Rafael Pacifics (14-9). He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
