Steve Detwiler clubbed two home runs as the San Rafael Pacifics (3-3) took home a 3-1 victory over the Sonoma County Grapes (3-3) at Albert Park on Monday.
He homered in the second and fourth innings.The San Rafael Pacifics got the win thanks in large part to Matthew Durkin's dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Durkin allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over seven innings.
Frederick Atkins reached base three times in the game for the Sonoma County Grapes. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.
Matthew Gibbs couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Sonoma County Grapes, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
