The two teams combined for 34 hits in the game.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the eighth, with 11 lead changes.
Tyler Ray racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Madness. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.
Tom Cuccinello had two extra-base hits for the long island afterschock. He tripled in the third inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Johnny Reyes recorded his first win for the Madness even though he allowed 12 runs over eight innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 17 hits.
Rob Schwartz couldn't get it done on the rubber for the long island afterschock, taking a loss. He allowed 15 runs in eight innings, walked 12 and struck out none.
