An impressive effort by K. Obrian carried the village idiots (22-4) to a 27-10 win in six innings over the Top Shelf (11-13) on Monday at Shorefront Park.
Obrian racked up six RBIs on five hits for the village idiots. He homered in the first and second innings and singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.
Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 37 total runs and 44 hits during the game.
Everything was working at the plate for the the village idiots in the first. The Top Shelf had no answer as the village idiots scored 14 runs.
