The Beer Run (10-6) jumped out to an early lead on the gorillas monsoon (0-14) and captured a 17-4 victory on Saturday at Raynor Park two.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed the Beer Run to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Mike Podstuka, an RBI single by Jason Quilty, , a sacrifice fly by John S, an error, an RBI double by Nick Liotta, and an RBI single by Mike Depasqualle during the first inning and a single by Podstuka, a sacrifice fly by Quilty, a sacrifice fly by Zach Shappiro, and an RBI double by S in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Beer Run.

Podstuka racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Beer Run.

Nolan Connor put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the gorillas monsoon. He tripled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
