An exceptional effort by Jay D spurred the R BAR Panthers (13-8) to a 17-16 win in seven innings over the JAGERBOMBERS CANZ (12-9) on Sunday at Shorefront Park.

D racked up six RBIs on three hits for the R BAR Panthers. He homered in the third and fourth innings and singled in the fifth inning.

Tom Carbone rocked the R BAR Panthers with two home runs. Carbone went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Carbone homered in the fourth and seventh innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 33 total runs and 46 hits during the game.

Even though D allowed 16 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered 24 hits.

Bobby Terra couldn't get it done on the bump for the JAGERBOMBERS CANZ, taking a loss. He allowed 17 runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out none.
