The TFA Comets (13-10) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Filthy Bastards (15-8), and the TFA Comets lost 7-5 to the Filthy Bastards after falling behind by three runs in the sixth inning.

The TFA Comets scored one run in the sixth on an RBI single by Joe Maiscalco. Unfortunately, the TFA Comets weren't able to take the lead back.

Ron Hassett was hot from the plate for the Filthy Bastards. Hassett went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Maiscalco racked up two RBIs on two hits for the TFA Comets. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Even though Bobby Belonzi allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his seventh of the season. Belonzi struck out none, walked one and gave up 11 hits.

Bob Giordano was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out none.
