The Ghost Whipes (13-5) beat the Gaza Strip Club (15-7) 20-7 in five innings on Wednesday at East Islip Marina Field #1 after an 11-run explosion in the second inning.

Don Tenney racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Ghost Whipes. He singled in the second innings and tripled in the third inning.

Joey Cannoe racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Gaza Strip Club. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Even though Mike Sierzputowski allowed seven runs over five innings he still recorded the victory. Sierzputowski struck out one, walked one and gave up 14 hits.

Stan Balsky was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 20 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out none.

The Ghost Whipes pounded the Gaza Strip Club pitching, as eight hitters combined for 19 hits, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
