Jantzen leads the Montgomery Biscuits to 25-21 win over the Metropolitan AllStars

Sunday was a great day for Matt Jantzen, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Montgomery Biscuits (8-15) to a 25-21 victory over the Metropolitan AllStars (3-20) at Clarissa Drive Field in 11 innings.

The Montgomery Biscuits were in a difficult situation in the sixth inning before they recovered for the win.

Dave Matos racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Montgomery Biscuits. He doubled in the first and seventh innings and singled in the fifth, ninth, and eleventh innings.

The two teams combined for 46 runs and 56 hits, including zero extra base hits.

Jessie Buites recorded his third win for the Montgomery Biscuits even though he allowed 21 runs over 11 innings. He struck out three, walked 30 and surrendered 13 hits.

john johnston couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Metropolitan AllStars, taking a loss. He allowed 25 runs in 11 innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Montgomery Biscuits hammered the Metropolitan AllStars pitching as 10 hitters had a field day, combining for 41 hits, 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
